Team HausThe Haus Fights Cancer
The University of Oxford, Intel, the American Cancer Society, and the National Foundation for Cancer Research have begun a effort to use computers to help fight cancer. It uses the CPU cycles you aren't using to try to figure out potential cures. The Haus is proud to be a part of this effort. We have even started our own team, appropriately named Team Haus.
Want to Join Team Haus?
- Download and install the client. Currently there are only Win9x, ME, NT, and 2K versions available, but Linux and Mac versions will be available soon.
- Join Team Haus! Let's get to the top of the team list! (N.B. Pick a member name other than your real name. Their website makes a point of that, but the installer does not for some reason.)
- Let the client run! You can have it run all the time (it will use less CPU power when other apps require it), as a screensaver, or during specific times of the day.
