NV20 Specs? -- 10:57 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Riva3D posted what a Taiwanese website is claiming are the specs on the NV20, NVIDIA's next-gen chip. Take it all with the usual healthy grain of salt, since none of it is official.

Pondering the Imponderable -- 10:43 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

As The Master alluded to yesterday, I had an accident with my snowthrower that took the tips off three fingers on my right hand. Left-hand-only typing isn't the easiest in the world, but I can get along OK. I want to play Q3:TA so bad I can taste it, but that's going to be impossible for some time. Oh well. I'll just have to jump on a public server and spectate so I can live vicariously.

id's Paul Jaquays updated his .plan with news that the Quake III: Team Arena meshes are available for download. Get skinning!

The link below will download the installer (with EULA) for the wire mesh art used to create the character skins for the Team Arnea models. Included are the mesh layouts for the two team models (male and female), all 11 character heads, and the mesh layouts for Pi and Fritzkrieg, the two tourney models.

New Hun-Speak -- 6:38 pm CST, Update by The Master

A.T. has put together another Hun-Speak, "It's the ads, Stupid," with his take on the whole GameFan/GCA/UGO gaming networks and their cutting back/termination. This is the first in a multi-part series, so give it a read and wait anxiously for that next edition!

Welp, our main man A.T. is going to be away from things for awhile, so while he's gone, I'll probably be covering more of the day-to-day news on The Haus. Don't be surprised if the volume slows a bit, my work schedule doesn't allow me a lot of time during the day for updates. I'll try to keep on it tho :-)

A.T. Hun comments: A word of advice: take great care when fiddling with running snow throwers. Otherwise you might have to learn to type left-handed for a while.
