Well, it appears my network has suddenly decided to up and die, so I'm posting this from Eeyore's machine. Dang but I wish Murphy would get off my back.

Those wacky Nullsoft kids have released Winamp 2.72, the latest version of their ever-popular MP3 player. There are the usual round of bug fixes and such.

Riva3D posted what a Taiwanese website is claiming are the specs on the NV20, NVIDIA's next-gen chip. Take it all with the usual healthy grain of salt, since none of it is official.

Pondering the Imponderable -- 10:43 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

As The Master alluded to yesterday, I had an accident with my snowthrower that took the tips off three fingers on my right hand. Left-hand-only typing isn't the easiest in the world, but I can get along OK. I want to play Q3:TA so bad I can taste it, but that's going to be impossible for some time. Oh well. I'll just have to jump on a public server and spectate so I can live vicariously.

id's Paul Jaquays updated his .plan with news that the Quake III: Team Arena meshes are available for download. Get skinning!

Included are the mesh layouts for the two team models (male and female), all 11 character heads, and the mesh layouts for Pi and Fritzkrieg, the two tourney models.
