April Fool's Ponderings -- 11:33 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Expect the usual wacky pseudo-announcements as everybody tries to one-up each other on April Fool's weirdness. I almost bought one headline on Slashdot. Of course, sometimes you'd think every day is April 1 at /.J.t.Qbe comments: There certainly are plenty of fools over there. But here at The Haus we'd never try to fool you with phony headlines on April 1, would we?
The Master comments: Nah, we'd never do a thing like that! >:)

Pondering the Imponderable -- 7:56 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Hey kids! If you live in the U.S. (and outside Arizona, several counties in Indiana, and probably some other places), daylight savings time comes to a screeching halt tonight. Make sure to set your clocks an hour ahead tonight!Converting from Windows to Linux -- 10:03 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Troubleshooters.com tell how they converted from Windows to Linux. It's an interesting read for those of us planning, or at least considering, making that plunge. Sometime in the not-too-distant future I plan on doing just this. I'm going to basically do the reverse of what I'm doing now. I'll have the main partition be Linux with Win98 as a smaller partition, just in case there's something I must have that just won't work (most likely, certain games). Hopefully that day will be coming soon. Thanks Linux Today.J.t.Qbe comments: This is a good article. The author Gets It: free software isn't just about getting software for free, it's about BEING free.
