Ports vs. Wine

Gamespy interviewed representatives from Transgaming, Loki, Hyperion, and Tribsoft to answer the musical question is it better to port games to Linux or use WINE emulation? Emulation is all fine and good as long as we recognize that a) Microsoft will find a way to break it, and b) realize that native apps can make better use of Linux' many strengths. Thanks Slashdot.
