NWN 1.23 Patch Released

Bioware has released the 1.23 patch for Neverwinter Nights. It is available via the updater in the NWN launcher and as a manual download (1-6M), although the latter method is not recommended. They list a lot of fixes, the most significant of which is that SecuROM disk checking has been removed. That was causing a lot of problems for a lot of people. If NWN was GPFing on launch for you, this probably will fix it. Hopefully that will also aid in the Linux port.

FiringSquad Does QuakeCon

The FiringSquad posted their overview of QuakeCon. Like most of these things, they focus mainly on DOOM III. There are even a few new tidbits in there I have not read anyplace else. It's a nice read for a (hopefully) boring Sunday. Thanks Blue.
