NFL Week #10 Final

Apparently I jinxed the Broncos by talking about rooting for them. Anyway, I ended up 9-4-1 while Eeyore was 7-6-1. Year-to-date I am 92-51-1 (.639) and Eeyore is 80-63-1 (.556). Maybe I can catch up to my first-year mark of .649! At least I'm better than I was last year at .605.

Team Haus Expands

For some time now, The Haus has been involved with the United Devices effort to use distributed computing to fight cancer. Since I've been running Linux full-time on my main box, I haven't been able to run the UD client. Because of this and to give my Athlon XP 1800+ something to do, we have started a Folding@Home team. Check out our Team Haus page for the details on both efforts. Donate some spare CPU cycles to help find a cure!

NFL Week #10 So Far

With one game left, my record for this week stands at 9-3-1 and Eeyore's is 7-5-1. Thanks to Atlanta and Pittsburgh, we were both saddled with a tie. Blech. Thanks to Indianapolis' unexpected drubbing of the Eagles, not only did I lose that pick, but the Eagles defense gave my fantasy team next to nothing. They may have single-handedly lost this week for me. Grr. Since my Lions looked so wonderful (*cough* who greased Schroeder's hands?) I'll have to pull for my #2 team, the Broncos, tonight with all my might.

NFL Week #10 Picks

Yikes! We're in double digits! There's not much football left. Rather than moan and complain, here are my picks for this week. Go Fightin' Wombats! Titans, Packers, Steelers, Rams, Saints, Eagles, Giants, Ravens, Cardinals, Redskins, Patriots, 49ers, Jets, Broncos.

The Master comments: Eeyore's picks: Ravens, Saints, Packers, Giants, Eagles, Steelers, Chargers, Titans, Cardinals, Redskins, Patriots, 49er's, Dolphins, Broncos.

Anakin Skywalker Switch Commercial

Since I've posted about a number of parodies on the Apple Switch campaign. Here's a famous switch, one by Anakin Skywalker. Just a couple of caveats: you will need Macromedia Flash Player 6 (Linux users can download a beta here. Worked for me.) and some of the other content on that site is of a questionable nature.

10-in-1 Review

I just saw this on Blue's News. Back in Time reviewed the Atari 10-in-1 gaming system that I mentioned yesterday (story). As cool as the idea is, apparently it didn't carry over too well in practice. That's quite a shame. Hopefully they found and fixed the bugs the reviewer mentions. If not, it becomes pretty worthless.
