New Mozilla Roadmap

The Mozilla team has posted a new roadmap, calling for some radical new changes in the way Mozilla will continue to be developed. The changes are so big, I almost wondered if it was an April Fool's joke. They plan to streamline the development process and focus on Phoenix as a standalone browser and Thunderbird as a standalone mail client. The goal is to reduce code bloat and concentrate on the Gecko rendering engine. I'm not clever enough to judge how wise this move is, but I do know that it means big changes.

JK3 Interview

Games Domain posted an interview with folks from Activision and Raven about the game tentatively titled Jedi Knight III. Here's a snip:

GD: You mentioned that you're kind of stepping back to the first Jedi Knight (Dark Forces 2) where you can choose to be evil or good at some point in the game. How is that going to work?

JZ: It will be different than Jedi Knight. Your good and evil choice is not a reaction to how you played the game. You can choose your light side powers and dark side powers as you progress and the game branches depending on those choices to two different endings.

Thanks Shack News.
