New NVIDIA Linux Drivers Reviewed -- 12:19 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun
LinuxHardware posted a review of the NVIDIA 1.0-4349 drivers and the Quadro FX 2000 video card. They cover the installation process (even on a custom kernel) and offer some benchmarks. It appears that these new drivers really shine when it comes to antialiasing and anisotropic filtering. I've personally noticed some big 2D improvements as well.

New Mozilla Roadmap -- 8:43 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun
The Mozilla team has posted a new roadmap, calling for some radical new changes in the way Mozilla will continue to be developed. The changes are so big, I almost wondered if it was an April Fool's joke. They plan to streamline the development process and focus on Phoenix as a standalone browser and Thunderbird as a standalone mail client. The goal is to reduce code bloat and concentrate on the Gecko rendering engine. I'm not clever enough to judge how wise this move is, but I do know that it means big changes.

LucasArts officially opened the site for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. That page contains screenshots and other information on the new Jedi Knight game in production by Raven. The game is slated for a fall release. W00t! Now, guys, how about a Linux client? Thanks Blue's News.
