Deus Ex: Invisible War Demo -- 10:39 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

I'm surprised that The Master hasn't posted something about this yet. Eidos and ION Storm have released a demo of Deus Ex: Invisible War. You can get it from 3D Gamers or your favorite mirror site. In honor of the demo's release, I installed the original Deus Ex GOTY edition in WineX tonight. I got it free with my video card, but have never gotten around to playing it.

The Master comments: Tried to run the new demo this weekend, and when it kept crashing I had a heck of a time trying to figure out what was going on. Turns out a GPF dialog box was being thrown but was not visible due to DirectX doing something weird with the screen. Once I upgraded my video drivers to the latest Nvidia release I was able to find out I need a new video card. I cry now.

NFL Week #12 -- 10:29 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Ah yes, another weekend of NFL splendor. I do love it so. Here's my picks: Vikings (I hope I'm wrong), Jets, Eagles, Ravens, Patriots, Colts, Browns, Panthers, Packers, Broncos, Rams, Bengals, Chiefs, Titans, Dolphins, Bucs (because one of these teams has to win).

Hail to the Victors! -- 6:31 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

W00t! Michigan stomped Ohio State 35-21 at the Big House today before the largest crowd to ever witness a college football game (112,118). That makes the Wolverines Big Ten champions and guarantees that they will at least play in the Rose Bowl. They have an outside chance of the Sugar Bowl, but a lot of things would have to fall their way. For now, I'm just going to savor this big win.
