Only three weeks in the regular season left? Waahhhh! Anyway, here's my picks for this week's action in the National . . . Football . . . League: Rams, Patriots, Jets, Bucs, Vikings, Bengals, Titans, Colts, Chiefs, Broncos, Ravens, Cowboys, Panthers, Packers, Saints, Eagles.

LG Update -- 7:32 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Well, a full week has past and I still have not received my replacement CD-RW/DVD-ROM from LG. They said it would take 5-10 business days once they received it. It's been seven business days. If it isn't here by Wednesday, I guess I'll have to call again and raise Cain. I'm hopeful that I won't have to do that.

Although I pay almost no attention to entertainment-type things, I do think it's noteworthy that today is Bob Barker's 80th birthday. Tomorrow evening is a special episode of "The Price is Right" to celebrate.

I remember watching "The Price is Right" in the mornings while getting ready to go to kindergarten, which must have been 1973 or 1974, and I remember watching Bob on "Truth or Consequences" with my grandparents in the evenings at their house. Happy birthday and best wishes, Bob!
