The Vote

The highest percentage of voters since the early 60s turned out to make their choice known for President. The report has just come out from the AP and other sources that John Kerry called President Bush to concede the race. My main prayer was answered: that we would not have a repeat of the debacle in 2000. Now that the vote is over, hopefully we can concentrate on keeping the economy improving and stabilizing Iraq.

Interestingly enough, I don't know if any article sums up my feelings like this one does, on ESPN Page 3 of all places.

NFL Week #8 Final

Well, the Monday night game got me up to 6-8 for the weekend and propelled Eeyore to 10-4. Year-to-date that brings be down to 71-45 (.612) while Eeyore jumped up to 67-49 (.573). Umm, here's to next week?!?

If you are a resident of the United States, get out to the polls and vote! I just got back from voting. The volunteers said that they had been very busy all morning. I was the 31st person to vote in my ward and the polls had only been open for 45 minutes! Not bad for a little town.
