Hello, is this thing on?

I handed my car over to the mechanic to get the open-heart surgery that is head gasket replacement. Hopefully nothing else too bizarre pops up. By the end of the week or early next week it should be back in my hands. I can only hope that the fix actually does the trick. The only thing worse than a $1000 repair bill is getting the work done and finding out that it doesn't work.

To soothe myself (or something like that), I bought a Logitech Cordless Action controller for my PStwo. I tried it from about 25 feet away with my wife standing between me and the receiver and it still worked great. The control seems excellent--every bit as good as a wired one. This one, though, my one-year-old can't trip over (or deliberately pull out). Unfortunately, the receiver dongle is just a bit tall for the slimmer PStwo design. A solution would be to get the verticle stand for it, but I'm in no big hurry for that.
