Pondering the Imponderable -- 8:23 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

I just did a bit of spring cleaning. I took my box outside and blasted it with some compressed air. It actually didn't look too bad, except the video card heatsink. My wife and I thoroughly vacuumed under my desk too. Be kind to your computer! Free it from the tyranny of dust bunnies!

New HL2 DM Maps -- 11:07 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Valve has released the three Half-Life 2 deathmatch maps that won their contest. Details are available on Steam News. Just fire up Steam and the maps will download.

DOOM3/RoE 1.3 Patch Plans -- 6:12 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

id's Timothee Bessett updated his .plan with more information on the upcoming 1.3 patch for DOOM3 and the Resurrection of Evil expansion. Here's the word:

• Resurection (sic) of Evil will be supported on Linux
• release 1.3 has EAX HD support, PunkBuster and bunch of other goodies
• we will release an updated SDK shortly after the patch release
• it's not done yet

I'm especially glad for the formal announcement of Linux support in RoE. I've got a nice copy of it right now that I can't do much with :)
