Play DOOM in DOOM3 -- 9:47 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Terminal DOOM is a proof-of-concept mod for DOOM3 that lets you play the original DOOM in an in-game monitor in DOOM3. It was designed to show the powerful things you can do with DOOM3's GUI scripting system. I'm going to have to try this out, just on general principle. It will be interesting to see what things can come out of this. Thanks Linux Games.

Pondering the Imponderable -- 10:52 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun
I'm really enjoying DOOM3: Resurrection of Evil now that I'm actually able to play it in Linux. There's only so long that you can stare at the shiny side of a CD-ROM before it loses entertainment value. I think the grabber is a great addition to the arsenal. Yeah, Half-Life 2 had a gravity gun first. While that one was fun, I think the DOOM3 grabber is more useful. I really like being able to fling small enemies (especially those babies with wings things) around and use the enemies' missile attacks against them. Good times.
