Linux on the PS3

Gamespot translated Impress PC Watch's interview with Sony's Ken Kutaragi about the PS3 and Linux. Apparently PS3 hard drives will come with Linux pre-installed on them. It will be interesting to see what Sony allows people to do. The hacking (in a good sense) potential could be tremendous. Thanks Linux Games.

Burnout Revenge Previews

IGN posted two previews of Criterion's forthcoming game Burnout Revenge. One was written before E3 the other was written after E3. Burnout 3: Takedown is one of my favorite games on the PS2. Basically, it's an arcade racer with a violent streak. When I first rented it, I was giggling like a schoolgirl. We bought it very shortly thereafter. It looks like Burnout Revenge will take the best of the series and make it even more violent. The new Traffic Attack mode seems particularly interesting.

Logitech Wireless Sale

I noticed in the Target ad that they have the Logitech Cordless Action Controller for the PS2 and the Logitech Cordless Precision Controller for the Xbox on sale for $34. I've got the PS2 version and it works great. I've had it since January 31st and have yet to change the batteries, even though I've had rumble on the whole time. There might be cheaper cordless controllers out there, but I don't think there are any better ones. (Full disclosure: we have no affiliation with any of the above companies. I'm just a happy customer.)
