Nexuiz 1.2 Released -- 1:02 pm CST, Update by The Master

The Nexuiz team has released version 1.2 of the Nexuiz Quake 1 conversion. Here's the changelog:

• CTF, Domination and Teamplay gamemodes now are fully supported
• completely new Runematch gamemode
• reduced falldamage due to popular demand
• two new maps (for the CTF game mode)
• fixed nexdm17 to look like intended
• selecting gamemodes now works by selecting a map

You can download either the 1.1->1.2 patch or the full release.

Coffee Is Good for You -- 11:50 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

Yet another study has shown that coffee, in moderation, is good for you. Coffee provides antioxidants, lowers your risk of liver cancer, and lowers your chance of getting type 2 diabetes. Like anything, overuse can lead to problems. Between my love for coffee and dark beers, I'm going to live forever!

J.t.Qbe comments: Despite your love for large quantities of meat?

A.T. Hun comments: You make it sound like that's a bad thing or that you are not in complete agreement with me on that :) Of course, one nice thing about having four children is that large quantities of meat rarely make it into the budget.
