Linux Kernel to Remain GPL v2

Linus Torvalds made this post on the Linux kernel mailing lists, stating that the kernel itself will remain GPL v2 even when GPL v3 is finalized. I suspected it would be too big of a PITA to get permission from all of the authors. Plus, I don't see a ton of benefit for the kernel proper. Thanks Slashdot.

13 Things That Do Not Make Sense

NewScientistSpace has a fascinating article on 13 things that do not make sense, where they review 13 different items in physics and chemistry that are currently unresolvable by our knowledge of the universe. This is fascinating stuff. I also really need to narrow down my range of interests :-)

A.T. Hun comments: Nnnoo! It can't be! Scientists can figure out anything! They are never wrong or change their minds! We can put our full faith and confidence in them!
