Prey Demo?

According to this 3D Realms press release, a demo of Prey is due for release on June 22. Prey, for those of you new to gaming, is one of those games in the category of vaporware, due for the last 8 years or so but never actually getting there. Well, here it comes. I'm fairly certain there is ice forming in unmentionable places right now.

A.T. Hun comments: What's next, a Duke Nukem Forever demo?

The Master comments: Let's not get out of control now.

Bleh

Wisdom tooth extraction sucks. I just can't wait for the next one. I'm sure that will be a complete riot.

"Cheaper" PS3 Will Be Upgradeable

Games Industry.biz got word from Sony that the cheaper PS3 will be upgradeable, although not to HDMI output. So you can add a bigger hard drive, WiFi, etc. later. It will be interesting to see how much those upgrades will cost though. Here's a snip:

This confirms comments made by Sony's Phil Harrison in a recent interview with GI.biz, where he stated: "You can upgrade to whatever size of drive you like. You can put in any drive that you like - it is a computer, after all."

I'm waiting to hear more details on what kind of Linux haX0ring you'll be able to do on this bad boy.
