Darkness Over Daggerford 1.1 -- 1:36 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

An updated version of the Darkness Over Daggerford module for Neverwinter Nights has been released. It fixes a number of bugs that affected the mod. Unfortunately if you install the new version, you need to start over at the beginning. Good thing I hadn't started it yet.

Lockheed Gets Orion Contract -- 1:11 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

NASA has awarded Lockheed-Martin the contract to build the Orion spacecraft which will replace the Space Shuttle. Orion is scheduled to enter service in 2014 and take astronauts back to the moon in 2020 for the first time since 1972. The hope is that the lunar missions could lead to a trip to Mars. The Orion concept seems to be a "best of" combination of Shuttle technology and old Apollo-era design.

The Master comments: I just hope they manage to get this thing going soon. While the GAO and everyone else is screaming about going too fast, wasting time can result in nothing happening. Witness the spaceplane designs Lockheed worked on in the 80's. I'd like to see man on the moon again before I die. Now that I think about it, maybe a measured form of speed would be a good idea. Rushing headlong resulted in Apollo 1.
