Cell Phone/Cancer Link Debunked -- 11:05 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

A very large study of Danish cellphone users from 1982-1995 (and tracking the rate of cancer through 2002) indicates that there was no link between cellphone use and cancer. As a matter of fact, the cellphone users had a slightly lower rate of cancer than the norm. The study looked at almost 500,000 people, a huge amount of data. That's good news for cellphone users, even the ones I might occasionally wish a brain tumor upon.

Make It Stop! -- 10:24 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

I was getting the oil changed in my car this morning. One of the office workers there decided it would be a great idea to play a Neil Diamond Christmas CD loudly. Talk about torture. Don't get me wrong, I love bona fide Christmas music especially with a nice light snowfall, but this is ridiculous. I'm reminded of how Norm MacDonald described the Kenny G Christmas album, "Happy birthday, Jesus! Hope you like crap!"
