Rethinking TMI

CNN Money has posted an article discussing the need to rethinking Three Mile Island (part of a multiple article series). This goes over the need for rethinking our use of nuclear and alternative fuels to replace greenhouse gas emitting fossil fuels. The points made indicate that our fear of nuclear power may be misplaced in comparison to other sources of power that we use freely.

Editor note: I am a strong supporter of nuclear power.

ShackNews interviews id

ShackNews' Chris Remo has posted an interview with id Software's Kevin Cloud & Steve Nix. In the interview, they discuss what id has been doing for the past couple years, and the changes going on in respect to their engine licensing. Good stuff.

A.T. Hun comments: This is also why I've pretty much given up on PC gaming. Now that id and Epic's new tech will all be on the Xbox 360 and PS3, there is very little impetus for me to sink a bunch of cash into my PC that will be of no benefit to me except for gaming. I know that PS3s are expensive, but have you priced the latest and greatest CPUs and video cards lately?
