Stephen Heaslip Interview -- 3:39 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun
In the "turn-about is fair play" department, Levelord has posted an interview with Stephen "Blue" Heaslip, the man behind Blue's News. As you might imagine, the interview is very silly indeed. It is nice to know that there are some webmasters out there as old as J.t.Qbe and yours truly.More Napster Silliness -- 9:50 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Aimster came up with a Pig Latin encoder for MP3s to circumvent the filtering on Napster. They claim that if the RIAA tried to reverse it, they would be guilty of reverse engineering under the DMCA. Not sure if it would hold up in court, but it certainly is funny to think about. Also some Canadian is planning on setting up a Napster clone on a sovereign island off England. I think that the RIAA will live to regret not making a deal with Napster when they had a chance. Their victory will turn out to be pyrrhic. Thanks Slashdot for both links.

Unreal II Info -- 9:10 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun
VoodooExtreme got their hands on a whole bunch of information on Unreal II, currently in development by Legend Entertainment. Sounds like it could be very cool. We shall see if it has the performance issues that the original did.One Foot in the Grave -- 11:02 am CST, Update by J.t.Qbe
Today I leave the green pastures of 33 in the able (if somewhat shorter) hands of A.T. and move into the uncharted territory of 34. Actually, for the last few months I've thought I was 34, so it's kind of nice not to be any older. As a birthday present to myself, I picked up Loki's port of Heroes of Might & Magic III to Linux. It's amazing. The sound worked correctly right away and the video looks great. For $15 at Half-Price books, it was a real find. I've heard good things about Loki's work, and now that I see it for myself I'm very impressed. Good work! Support Linux gaming and there'll be more!
A.T. Hun comments: Ya old man, ya.
Raven and Jedi Knight II? -- 9:56 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Blue got word from a German Star Wars fan site that claims that Raven will be working on a sequel to Jedi Knight for LucasArts. There has been no confirmation on this at all. All I can say is that I really hope it is true. I've been very impressed with Raven's recent games. I would love to see what they could do with the Jedi Knight franchise, especially with the Q3A or Doom engine.Recent Headlines
