UT2003 Win32 Patch released

Epic has released a version 2136 patch for Unreal Tournament 2003. There's a whole pile of changes in the 10.2mb release, so go get it. Here's some links:

A.T. Hun comments: According to the UT2K3/Linux mailing list, the 2136 patch for Linux should be out later tonight as well.

NFL Week #8 Final

Well another weekend, another double-digit win! I went 10-4 in this week's games; Eeyore went 8-6. Overall I am 73-43 (.629) whilst Eeyore is 65-51 (.560). Tune in next weekend when we get to pick the winner of the Game of the Century, Cincinnati at Houston!

Oh yeah, I heard that the World Series is over too. I'm assuming one of the two teams that were playing won, whoever they were. Apparently no one else was watching either since the T.V. ratings were abysmal. Way to go, Bud!

Cathy Rogers Interview

Cathy Rogers, creator of Junkyard Wars and Full Metal Challenge, answered some questions sent by Slashdot readers. Junkyard Wars aka Scrapheap Challenge is about the only show that my wife and I regularly watch together. Seeing Ms. Rogers and Henry Rollins together for Full Metal Challenge is worth the price of admission alone.

Pondering the Imponderable

I've been looking for a new gamepad to play EA Sports' NHL series with. Today I picked up a USB Gravis GamePad Pro. Besides being cool, USB, and all-digital, it also came with the full version of Madden NFL 2002. Sure, it's not the latest and greatest version, but it did only set me back $10 at BB (at least once the rebate gets back).
