NWN: SoU Gone Gold

Bioware sends word that their first expansion for Neverwinter Nights, Shadows of Undrentide, has gone gold. According to some of the pre-order sites, it looks like they will be asking about $30 for this. I'll probably be snagging this one at some point. I wonder if the Linux binary is on disc . . .

Mozilla 1.4 RC1 Released

The Mozilla team has issued Release Candidate 1 for Mozilla 1.4. Check out the release notes and download a build for your operating system. Hopefully they have fixed whatever bug was causing the browser to crash on ESPN Insider.

After yesterday's spate of SCO legal news, here's today's dose: That legal threat against Torvalds was "overstated". Sure, Darl, keep running backwards. That legal drag racer about to run your butt over might not catch you.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Released

Activision, id, and Splash Damage have released Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. ET is a free, downloadable multiplayer game in the Wolfenstein universe. You don't need the original RtCW to play. It is a 258M download, available for both Windows and Linux. You can download it from 3D Gamers, as well as all the usual suspects. Besides being on all the gaming sites, this also got posted on Slashdot so all the mirrors are getting hammered.
