More NFL Week #13

Since we started off at a rip-roaring 0-2 pace, let's see if we can right the ship with the rest of this weekend's festivities: Colts, Rams, Giants, Bengals, Eagles, Ravens, Texans, Bears, Saints, Broncos, Chiefs, Seahawks, Bucs, Titans.

The Master comments: Here's Eeyore's picks for the rest of the games: Bears, Texans, Bills, Bengals, Rams, Colts, Panthers, Ravens, Saints, Browns, Raiders, Chiefs, Bucs, Titans. E had these done this morning before I got up, but I've been busy doing carpet scrubbing all morning. Deal with it :-)

LG Update

I got my sticker from LG today to return my CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive (original story). They mailed it out on Monday (four working days after I called them) and it got here either yesterday or today. It's an Airborne Express pre-paid sticker, so at least I don't have to fork over the cash for shipping. It's supposed to be second-day, so we'll see how long it will be until my replacement drive arrives.

MOO2 Mouse Tip

For those of you who still play Master of Orion 2, and have consistent, frustrating issues with your mouse locking up under Windows 2000/XP, here's something to try: disable DirectDraw using DxDiag.exe (look in your "program files" directory for a directx folder. It's usually somewhere in there). This worked really well for me, except for slightly degraded performance overall. I'm going to copy the CD to my HD to fix some of that. I am very glad to fix this; I was missing my MOO2 fix . . .
