Discovery Launch Scrubbed -- 2:03 pm CST, Update by The Master
I was saddened to see that NASA has scrubbed today's launch of Discovery to the ISS. However, on the flip side, at least NASA is being careful to make sure everything is 100% before lighting the candle. Here's to hoping the clock restarts tomorrow.
NHL Labor Agreement Reached -- 1:20 pm CST, Update by The Master
I'm sure A.T. will be pleased to hear the NHL has reached a labor agreement that will end the lockout that killed last years season. Now, how many years will it take to get things back to the way they were before the lockout? It took baseball at least 5 years.
A.T. Hun comments: I saw that on various sites. While I'm happy, I'm also p.o.'d that it took this long. My future good feelings will largely depend on what Red Wings GM Kenny Holland has up his sleeve. It's nice to be talking hockey without the initials C.B.A. being involved.
