New Unreal Fortress released -- 6:58 pm CST, Update by The Master
There's a new version of the Unreal Fortress mod (Build 390) available for download. New features include:- New awards implemented
- In order for a sentry to detect a disguised sabo, the sentry must be upgraded and the sabo must be in sight of the armourers motion sensor.
- Default prematch time for public games increased from 10 to 20 seconds (allows more time for people to join at map change)
- Players given ability to climb ladders
- Caltrops no longer hurt team mates
- Bot gameplay drastically improved
- Shotgun Implemented
- Armourer given shotgun
- Spanner alt-fire freezing fixed
- Sniper rifle charge reset and shake without firing fixed
- Knife alt-fire hang fixed
- Smoke and fragments removed from frag grenade (possible cause of server crash)
- Only rangers of the same team can pick up a demolitionist's radio
- If sentry building fails the metal ammo is now returned
- Death during sentry building destroys sentry
- Death during detpack lay removes detpack Sentry removed from player list (possible cause of server crash)
- Dispenser removed from player list (possible cause of server crash)
- Sentry repair reduced to 10% per spanner hit
- Dispenser destroy message fixed
- Amount of metal in ammo packs increased
- Health display of mortar corrected (possible cause of server crash)
- Scoreboard revamped (works in resolutions from 512 to 1280)
- Ladders implemented
- Weather generator added allowing real rain and snow in maps
- Mappers can now restrict classes in their maps
- Slews of bugs fixed
- Map pack updated
