Court Throws out Most of RAMBUS' Claims

Yesterday a U.S. District Court judge threw out most of RAMBUS' patent infringement claims against Infineon. The judge also said that even if Infineon were found guilty of infringing on the remaining three claims, he would not rule them willfully guilty of violating them. Note that this ruling came before Infineon even has presented its arguement that RAMBUS failed to disclose its patents to the JEDEC open standards body. Methinks Micron and Hyundai are smelling blood . . . Thanks Slashdot.

The Master comments: Thankfully the Judge saw through this bit of insanity. Course, that doesn't mean a higher court won't overrule. Let's cross our fingers.
