Stock Up on CD-Rs! -- 11:48 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun

According to this PC World report, prices of recordable CDs (CD-R) could jump as much as 350% this summer. Of course, even with the price increase the cost is still expected to be only 30-35 cents. That's still pretty cheap for 650-700M of storage, methinks. On a side note, I have to say that my CD-R/RW burner is one of the coolest toys I've ever purchased. I now even have bona fide off-site backups! Thanks Slashdot.
