GCC 3.0 Released (Finally)

After what seemed like an eternity GCC 3.0 has been released. GCC is the GNU Compiler Collection, open source tools for compiling C, C++, Java, Fortran, and other languages. Hopefully this means that Red Hat's version of GCC with its accompanying headaches can be put to bed for good. Having said that, I'm a firm believer that Red Hat's action forced the GCC team to get off their rears and finish 3.0. Thanks Slashdot.
