Netscape Only, Please

Weird. I just visited the FCC web site to change the address on my ham radio license. That type of thing can be done online now, but get this: full functionality is only available to Netscape users. Internet Explorer users only get a limited subset. Had to fire up Netscape (and hope it wouldn't crash the system) in order to get the job done.

And now for something completely different: here in Battle Creek, Michigan, the federal center (nice place--I almost worked there) had a mock terrorist drill this week. It was cut short when a guy allegedly displayed what appeared to be a pipe bomb. Oops, it wasn't real, but it was A PRANK. What? With loads of police and security around, he didn't have enough sense NOT to do this? Yikes. Read about it here, if you care.
