MSN.com Locks Out Non-IE Browsers

CNet is reporting that MSN.com is locking out certain versions of non-Internet Explorer web browsers. Their argument is "standards compliance." Sure. Like IE is standards compliant. Thanks Linux Today.

On a related note, I noticed that ESPN.com and NFL.com's fantasy league pages were freaking out in Mozilla recently. It was then that I discovered that both are now on MSN's network. Thankfully I have discovered that the problem is not specific to Mozilla. IE had the same problems in Windows. Sometimes their image server can't keep up. At periods of high traffic (which really sucks when you are trying to update your fantasy roster at the last minute), the pages load slowly and do not display properly. Sigh.
