No Athlon Bug for Me! -- 3:07 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun
I downloaded a program to read my processor's CPUID just for kicks. Thankfully, I found out that I have the latest revision of the Athlon XP, so it does not have the extended paging bug that earlier Athlon and Duron revisions had.Other than my BIOS freakout on Tuesday (which, I'll admit, was a pretty big thing since it turned my new box into a paperweight), I've been really happy with my new system. I haven't had any weird crashes, reboots, or anything like that. All the software I've tried to run has worked great. I'm quite pleased.
