Pondering the Imponderable

First of all, happy Easter to you and yours from the staff of The Haus! I've been eating ham like Cartman today. I'm going to have to hit the after-Easter chocolate rabbit sales. Hopefully I can schlep down to Green Bay tomorrow to pick up Jedi Knight II.

I've been futzing with Mozilla's tabbed browsing feature. Basically instead of opening new pages into new windows, a new tab appears (using a file-folder motif). It works rather slick. It's much easier to keep track of what pages you have open.

I've also been using OpenOffice 641D a bit more. I'm growing more and more impressed. It loads pretty quickly--of course I can't tell if that is an actual code improvement or if it's because of my fancy new box. It handles TrueType fonts like a champ--even with antialiasing! It can import DOCs and RTFs better than any other Linux word processor I've tried. I could see myself switching to it from WordPerfect for Linux.
