Spending Like a Drunken Sailor

Let it never be said that A.T. Hun does not support the local economies. After dropping some money on a laser printer the other day, my monitor showed signs of going to the great beyond. I picked up a ViewSonic UltraBrite A90f+ today. It's pretty nice and pretty huge (19"). I can really tell that the brightness was going on my old one. I've got the brightness cranked way down and this one is still far brighter than my old one ever was. I'm also trying to get used to a 1280x1024 resolution.

I feel kind of bad about getting this (no "Woohoo! New computer stuff!") since I really didn't have a chance to save up for it and I really didn't mind my old one. Good thing we're getting that early tax break check to cover this. Of course, within two months I'll be getting $120 worth of rebates too.
