Linux Kernel 2.6.0 Released!

Yes kids, it's true! Linus has officially released the 2.6.0 kernel. Get it from kernel.org (be gentle, they are getting Slashdotted right now. You can also check the changelog. I like the summary of the changelog which was posted on Slashdot, which I reproduce in all its glory:

But if you really want a ultra-summed-up explination, 2.6 has 63.8% more kickassedness than 2.4 does. That and ALSA support built in.

Preach on! This document lists everything you will need to know to upgrade your 2.4.x kernel to 2.6.x.
