(Re)Installing UT2K3

To test this new 2.6 kernel business, I decided to uninstall and reinstall UT2K3. The installation may have gone slightly faster that with 2.4, but not by much. I did notice that the system was much more responsive, despite the heavy CD-ROM access and decompression.

In a related story, I upgraded to kernel 2.6.2-rc3, which includes a patch to fix some problems I was having with dosemu. Unfortunately, I still can't get it to work right. It's acting very flaky. There's actually a new version of dosemu available. I'm going to have to try to get that one going.
