Cedega 4.2ForSteam Released -- 3:23 pm CST, Update by A.T. Hun

An updated version of Cedega dubbed 4.2ForSteam will hopefully fix the problems that the December 14 Steam update inflicted on us. Subscribers can download it here. As soon as it gets done downloading for me, I'll give it a spin.

Update! After upgrading, Steam accepted my password but told me I couldn't log on. I nuked my ClientRegistry.blob and restarted Steam. Now everything seems to be working OK. Having said that, I haven't actually started HL2 yet, but all signs look good.

Update #2! Well, things worked out pretty well. I was able to update and run HL2. The load times do indeed seem to be shorter. Of course that mainly means that they've gone from "ludicrous" to merely "enormous."
