DNF at 2006 E3?

Computer and Video Games is reporting that the long-awaited Duke Nukem Forever will be at E3 . . . in 2006. Some journalists actually got to see the game. Well, they saw footage without actually being able to play the game. Reportedly they are now using the Unreal Engine 3 which I believe would be their 47th engine change. If memory serves me correctly, DNF was originally supposed to be a Quake 2-engine game. If you're bored you can look back at the earliest reference to DNF that I could find on The Haus, way back in January of 2000. Note that they had already changed engines at least once at that point. Thanks Blue's News.

J.t.Qbe comments: I hear that Daikatana 2 will be bundled with DNF. Come on. Does anyone actually believe that there'll be such a thing...or that it will matter if it ever IS released? I loved Duke Nukem 3D...in 1996.

The Master comments: I'm expecting my grandkids to be putting down the latest DNF news long after I'm dead myself.
