Bleh -- 1:34 pm CST, Update by The Master

I just knew I should skip the Final 'Star Wars' not for squeamish article on CNN, since it's got me drooling at going to see Episode 3 even worse. And I still haven't gone to see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy yet. *Sniff*

J.t.Qbe comments: I read that CNN article too. Even though I haven't seen the last 2 movies, the article has me interested in seeing this one. Maybe someday.

As for Hitchhiker's Guide, I think I'll pass. In the 1980s I was the world's biggest fan. I practically memorized the books. For every school skit we performed parts of them. The trailer for the new movie lost me. I think I'll spend my money instead on the DVD version of the original BBC production.

And since we're talking about movies, I went to see Kung Fu Hustle a few weeks ago (the day it came out). Wow! I enjoyed Shaolin Soccer, but this one surpassed it. The first 20 minutes or so are horribly dark and violent...and then it turns into a fun, spectacular kung fu movie. If you have any interest at all in martial arts type movies, or just want to see something fun, Kung Fu Hustle is the place to be. I may even go see it again, even though that would break my "never go to the theater more than once per year" trend of the last 5 years.
