GTA: SA Rerated to AO -- 9:17 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Take Two Interactive issued a press release stating that the ESRB has rerated Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas AO (Adults Only, 18+) instead of M (Mature, 17+).
Having said this, if the notorious "Hot Coffee" mod actually just unlocks content that ships with GTA: SA (as the mod author claims), then Rockstar was pretty stupid not to remove it before shipping. They had to know that somebody would find it. However, if it isn't Rockstar-created content, then I can hardly see how the ESRB could justify rerating the game based on what one modder did. Dumber things have happened though. People often do what is politically expedient instead of what is actually right.
