More on udev

Well, it seems that udev rules aren't going to be stabilizing anytime soon. Things changed yet again between udev-097 (the version Slackware 11/-current uses) and udev-098. If I read things correctly, though, udev should still read old rules properly. I can see bits being added to the rules, etc., but these wholesale changes are more than a little annoying. I can't imagine what it must be like for Patrick Volkerding or anyone else who tries to create a distribution.
