UT Benchmarks: Update! -- 10:53 am CST, Update by A.T. Hun
Late last night (WAY too late last night) I discovered an error in the UT Benchmarks I posted yesterday (story). The error came about because I didn't realize that you need to restart Unreal Tournament to turn hardware 3D sound on or off. Imagine my surprise when I'm trying to play my newly-tweaked version of UT with a sudden, inexplicable 20% framerate hit!At any rate, I've updated the benchmarks with the new figures and added a "change" column on the one table so you can see the performance difference more easily. My final scores with the new settings didn't change at all (because I really didn't have hardware 3D sound enabled, even though I thought I did). Enjoy!
This also explains why I'm getting such a late start today :)
