Intel asks for VIA sales block -- 6:46 pm CST, Update by The Master
Saw this Friday, but never got around to posting it. According to Yahoo!, Intel asks U.S. to bar chips from Taiwan's VIA. Now, there are two FASCINATING items related to this: VIA is the primary chipset manufacturer for AMD, AND, Intel is asking to have one of it's major competitors barred from the primary computer market. Just like a certain U.S memory manufacturer did with it's Taiwanese competitors. Which drove memory prices through the roof. Ain't the law grand?Recent Headlines
