Jedi Knight II Demo Released

LucasArts has released the demo of Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, developed by Raven. The official site (linked above) is getting hammered right now, but JediKnightII.net has a list of mirrors. The demo weighs in a 66.5M and contains a level not included with the retail game but was seen at E3 last year.

Because I'm a LucasArts Insider (don't be too impressed, you just have to sign up for it) I had the opportunity to download the demo last night. It's shorter than the retail levels, but it gives you a good taste of how the game will go. If you are having problems dealing with all the stormtrooper fire at the beginning of the level, remember that the lightsaber will help you out tremendously with that. The last part of the level pits you against a Reborn. The one in the demo seemed much harder to kill then the ones in the game itself. It's well worth the download, even if you already have the game.

UPDATE! Blue lists some additional mirror sites as well.
