Baseball Players Set Strike Date

Because an average salary of $2 million is just barely enough to keep a ball player off food stamps, the baseball players' union set August 30 as a strike date. As a Detroit Tigers fan, I can only hope the players actually do strike and bring this train wreck of a season to a merciful end. I would also love it if a strike caused baseball as we know it to collapse so both the billionaire owners and their millionaire players get what they both richly deserve. It's to the point where I can't even stomach to watch SportsCenter because baseball highlights make me want to projectile vomit.
