CA Denies Buying SCO License

Computer Associates had been announced by SCO as a Linux licensee. According to this article CA actually bought some Unix licenses to which SCO attached Linux licenses for no apparent reason. CA doesn't even have enough licenses to cover its own Linux servers. It appears that this is even more lies and half-truths from the SCO camp. Big surprise. Thanks Slashdot.

Oh, and the Motley Fool had this to say about the whole situation:

With declining revenues, increasing losses, and an expensive and damaging litigation policy, SCO looks like one of the best short candidates I've seen in a while.

Hmm. It seems to me that someone with cruel, yet handsome eyes said the same thing in December.

UPDATE! In this TechWorld article, both Computer Associates and Leggett & Platt (another company named by SCO) deny buying SCO licenses. Ahh, Schadenfreude.
