I'm 37, I'm Not Old

The headline for this article is the peasant's complaint in Monty Python's The Holy Grail when called "old" (and "old woman" for that matter). Today I officially reach "not old" status. I probably won't worry unless someone calls me "old woman" from behind.

It's probably appropriate that on my Monty Python desk calendar they are beginning the infamous "Dead Parrot" sketch today. "This Hun is no more. He has ceased to be. He's expired and gone to meet his maker."

J.t.Qbe comments: Happy birthday, geezer. Be sure to take some time today to remember the days when you were young and your father used to take you to the stadium on spring afternoons. The sun was shining, the warm breeze was blowing, the crowd was waving pennants and shouting...."Hail Caesar!"
